International. As the number one global vendor in the IP video management software (VMS) segment, Milestone Systems was recognized in the World Market for CCTV and Video Surveillance Equipment report, recently published by IMS Research.
The report that ranked Milestone as a market leader in the field of video software was made with information collected in 2011 on suppliers of analog and digital video surveillance equipment.
Gary Wong, senior analyst at IMS Research, noted that Milestone Systems not only maintained the position as number one in the VMS software category, but also grew faster than the overall VMS software average, with revenue increasing by about 17% over the previous year.
