Latin America. Two football stadiums were equipped with Bosch Security Systems technology as part of strategies to ensure the safety and smooth development of two major sporting events held in the region last year.
On the one hand, the Copa America 2011 based in Argentina opted for the installation of 17 mobile dome cameras in the Malvinas stadium, which were located in the entrances, corridors and training rooms.
In addition to the above, the installed cameras had an intelligent video analysis system that allowed, through a fiber optic network, to integrate the video surveillance system with the CEO (Strategic Operations Center) located in the city of Mendoza.
On the other hand, the Hernán Ramírez Villegas stadium in the city of Pereira, Colombia, chose Bosch, in the process of modernization and adaptation developed to fit the technical parameters established by FIFA, for the implementation of a totally new surveillance system.
In that case they were used for image capture such as PTZ cameras, autodome series devices and Dinion series equipment. In addition, the installation was complemented by a storage system, and a complete audio installation, which in addition to being used for public announcements in case of emergency, also aimed at the transmission of music during matches.
