Posthumous tribute

I was lucky enough to meet Jaime Oliva many years ago, and I say lucky because he left a deep mark on all of us who knew him. He was a man of deep look, prudently reserved and with an optimistic attitude, always thinking that things can improve but taking action on them.

From its technical capacity I can say that it exceeded the expectations of the most rigorous parameters of excellence and thanks to its commercial capacity it was continuously a supplier of the financial sector and a good part of the government; even many of his clients learned from his knowledge and his tireless will to do things well and to stipulate to his brands a fair price.

Many times he told me: "Horacio should not give away our work" and following these words he gave a dimension of dignity to our profession, which he carried throughout his life and with which he worked in favor of the industry voluntarily. He was the founder of AMSIS (Mexican Association of Integral Security Systems S.C.), where we worked for more than 10 years for the security market under the premises of quality, order and commitment. He also served as president of ASIS Mexico chapter and as President of ALAS. I remember that when I was president of ASIS he called me and said: "Horacio, where you have gotten into, we have to work for the industry", in this way he made me feel that if I work in this industry and I do not take part in the organization of the sector I am doing only part of the work and under that commitment he took the presidency of ALAS.

This industry has lost a great man, we pray to God that his family will find prompt resignation and I thank God our Lord for the opportunity to have met him.
