USA. Mission 500, a major non-profit security industry initiative dedicated to serving the needs of children and communities in crisis, raised $1,800 at The Americas Fire and Security Expo.
In a cocktail offered by the magazine VENTAS DE SEGURIDAD, Mision 500 collected more than $ 1,800, which added to the accumulated total, since the launch of this initiative in Mexico in April, adds up to $ 38,000.
ATI (Access Technologies Inc.) donated four door access control systems with controller, readers, cards and software, for which tickets were offered for $25 each.
The purpose of Mission 500 is to sponsor 500 children in need through the World Vision's child sponsorship program, which provides food, clothing and education to those who really need it.
Based on the importance of this cause, several security companies expressed interest in donating some products to Mission 500 in future collections or raffles.
