Latin America. Flir Systems, Inc. recently announced William Romano as the new Marketing Manager for Latin America. The Executive will be in charge of marketing for the six segments that the company operates, instruments; Security; OEM and Components; Maritime; detection and surveillance.
Graduated in Social Communication, Advertising and Marketing from ESAMC / ESPM, William Romano, 31, has an MBA in Marketing and Commercial Management from the same institution and has more than 12 years of experience in marketing in Latin America, in addition to teaching at universities in Brazil.
The executive is responsible for drawing up local plans and implementing the company's global marketing and product strategy, and managing marketing activities including public relations, events and advertising to all segments and markets of the Flir brand.

"Our partners are the relevant distribution and representation channels, responsible for taking our brand and our solutions for the entire territory of Latin America. In addition to increasingly working with companies to improve Flir's performance in Latin America, we are entering the second stage of our strategy segments of reorganization and product development more accessible to end users. In addition to the B2B operation, our actions are also directed at the B2C relationship," Romano said.
The company's goal is to make the Flir brand and products even more present in the daily life of every human being to guarantee safety and quality of life at all levels.
