Latin America. Axis Communications announced the appointment of Francisco Ramírez, as the new Country Manager for Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.
Fredrik Nilsson, General Manager of Axis Communications was in charge of sharing the news with the team and collaborators in the region. "Francisco has been with Axis for three years and has done an extraordinary job. He managed to build the fastest growing sales team globally during 2014. He is backed by Ray Mauritsson, President and CEO of Axis Communications, as the new head of the region, so that we can anticipate needs and respond as quickly as possible to our customers and prospects."
Since joining the Swedish-born company in 2012, Francisco has built strong relationships in the partner network, as well as with end users, channels and distributors.
Ramirez, who replaces Fernando Esteban (with a new position in the United States) is taking the helm to lead the entire team from the headquarters in Mexico immediately.
"I am grateful to Axis for the support and recognition of my work. I have the task of continuing with the great work done by Fernando Esteban since May 1994, when he introduced the brand to Mexico. Ready to work and stay in our market leading position in the category of video surveillance cameras and video encoders," added the new head of the Axis region.
Francisco Ramírez has more than 25 years, developing in the Commercial, Marketing and Operations area in different industries, mainly in the Telecommunications sector. He is a graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana and has studies in Senior Business Management from IPADE.
In 2012, he began his career at Axis as Manager for the Mexico, Central America and Caribbean Region and was in charge of the commercial development of the company through the creation and consolidation of work teams; integration of solutions and value propositions.
