Latin America. William Barshop is the new regional sales director in the Southern Cone in Latin America of Samsung Techwin America-CCTV Division, and will be in charge of Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia.
Barshop, who has been part of the security industry for more than 20 years, served as a commercial representative for Ikegami, Toshiba and Tyco, as well as American Dynamics' exclusive representative for Brazil.
Pedro Duarte, the company's vice president of sales in Latin America, states that "Bill Barshop's experience in CCTV management and sales in the Latin market of the southern cone together with the System Integrators and vertical markets make him a perfect fit for Samsung Techwin America," adding "his knowledge and technical experience will be a great asset to expand our CCTV business in this region."
