Suprema has developed the latest model of IP access control, the Xpass S2 multi-card reader and controller. This device has a marked improvement over previous models in RF performance, as it now supports a wide range of standard cards including MiFare, DESFire, ISO14443A/B, ISO15693 and FeliCa, as well as NFC.
In addition to reading and writing data to the cards, with the IP65 ingress protection score, Xpass S2 is equipped with an adaptive heater, so it works under harsh environments with an operational temperature range from -35 °C to 65 °C.
It also supports expanded capacity, up to 50,000 user badges and 100,000 enterprise-level event logs. It not only comes with TCP/IP interfaces, but also with traditional ones like RS485 and Wiegand.
The device is designed to satisfy both the practical and aesthetic aspect, including multicolor LED indicator and extra slim profile of 11.4 mm. Measuring 80 mm in height and 120 mm in depth that fits perfectly into the most used standards.
