Suprema's BioEntry W2 is a fingerprint reader for access control that features RFID multi-selector and vandal-proof IP67 rating. The device offers increased match performance, outdoor durability and a multi-card reader in one package to provide comprehensive access control functions.
The BioEntry W2 is loaded with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, which archives matches with a speed of up to 150,000 matches per second. With its extended 2GB memory, it stores and manages up to 500,000 users and gives match results immediately.
The device combines the technologies of the improved fingerprint algorithm, the new sensor and live finger detection. In this way it reduces the false rejection rate and eliminates possible fraud with the use of materials for false fingerprints such as clay, rubber, silicone, paper and film, and thus improves the level of security.
