"We are a group of people interested in creating a better country and from our humble position we try to contribute our grain of sand to achieve that goal," can be read when accessing the page of the new site, created by a lawyer who, from anonymity, denounces the thieves who rob passengers on the subway.
The page, which also has its own account on Twitter and Facebook, aims to "prevent people from being victims of this type of crime again" and for this, it uses different forms of interaction so that visitors can collaborate in the anti-criminal crusade of the site.
Using captures obtained from cell phones, users can upload photos of the thieves to help identify them and add data about the place or the fact, thus creating a huge database on this type of crime so widespread in public transport.
On the web, which according to its creator has already had more than 300 thousand visits, it details which are the places preferred by the "pungas", such as the stations that go from Plaza de Mayo to Primera Junta on line A, and also informs about the steps to follow if one is a victim of that type of delitio.
According to the site, the times where more robberies are recorded are from 9 to 11 in the morning and from 17 to 19.
