One more day, and it seems that lately it's only time to talk about malware. This time it is because from Intego they report the discovery of a new evolution of BlackHole RAT that expands the number of known functionalities of this remote administration Trojan. This malware jumped to the media earlier this year for being a port that came from Windows. As we already published, BlackHole RAT had been advertised as a Remote Administration Tool that also worked on Mac OS X.Now they have discovered a last mutation, which they have called BlackHoleRAT.d, in which new files and new capabilities have been added, among which are a backdoor, called server.app, a keylogger, with the hidden name of keylogger.app and a module called isightvideo.app which is designed to record images and videos with the iSight webcam of the victims' computers.
