On the other hand, if you check the websites of the publishers targeted by the attack, you can see that at least one of them does not respond (Astrea.com.ar).Meanwhile, the organizers of the attack, have published a press release, to explain the motives they pursue and perhaps in one of the most interesting paragraphs they quote:
If everything continues as originally planned, at 12 noon the next goal would be to www.editores.org.ar, so as the day develops we will update this news.Honestly, and personally, I regret letting OpTaringa be named, when the original operation had been called OpFreedom.
OpTaringa was chosen because it was thought to be more identifiable, but I see that it has been a serious mistake.Regardless of the name of the operation: the operation does not defend taringa's interests.
Update 12:10 pm: The initial objective of Editores was changed because the attack on their servers would have affected other sites not related to the protest.
Update 12:15 pm: finally the objectives chosen were:
http://www.usershop.com.ar (offline for unknown reasons)http://www.librosar.com.ar/ (was shot down by attackers)
Update 12:50: apparently Astrea has not been one of the targets although it continues to fall, which can be the reason for any other error.Update 13:00: LibrosAr continues to fall and in the meantime the OpFaxNegro continues to be organized with the aim of sending black faxes to several of the publishers.
Update 15:00 hs: the LibroAr site continues to be under attack and down.
