12/04/2011. The executive secretary of the National Public Security System, Miguel Alcántara Soria met with 220 representatives of the most populated municipalities and with the highest index of insecurity in the country, where it is to discuss how the 4,403 million pesos that the Chamber of Deputies has allocated for Public Security this year will be distributed.
At the meeting, held in Mexico City, Alcántara Soria urged them to accelerate the certification processes of the police, since according to what was planned for January 2013 all police forces must be one hundred percent certified.
I inform that the minimum ceiling that each municipality will receive is 10 million pesos and the maximum of 95 million depending on the characteristics of each population and insecurity index.
