Latin America. Axis Communications, the global creator of the IP camera, announces the launch of the AXIS Q35 top-of-the-line series, which delivers maximum performance with 1080p HDTV image quality with 60 frames per second capture for installations in critical environments such as ports, airports and railways.
AXIS Q35 Series consists of AXIS Q3505-V for IK10-rated and dust-resistant indoor installations, and AXIS Q3505-VE for outdoor installations, rated IK10+ and impact resistant, both models with wide-angle and telephoto lens options.
The cameras offer Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), a technology that reduces vibrations caused by traffic or wind, common factors in outdoor installations. In addition to getting more stable videos, EIS reduces the file size of the compressed image, so that valuable storage space will be saved.
AXIS Q35 Series models can make a smooth transition in environments with strong light variation (thanks to WDR, or Wide Dynamic Range) and, at the same time, allow images to be viewed in low-light situations. Likewise, they have shock detection, an alarm automatically sends the operator a warning if the camera were to be hit.
The cameras of the new AXIS Q35 Series are expected to be available in South America by the end of the second quarter of 2014.
