International. The new ONVIF-compliant DAY/night IP cameras and minidomes record high-quality colour images even when lighting levels are as low as 0.1 lux at an ultra-fast frame rate of 30 fps at 2048 x 1536 pixels.
They have been designed for small businesses and the education and health sectors, as well as for any environment where quality images are necessary to serve as expert evidence such as airports, ports, parking lots and other transport facilities.
All models in wiseNetIII's new 3-megapixel range use P-Iris technology, which optimizes clarity and depth of field. They also have an improved dynamic range extension that, with a performance of more than 120 dB, allows you to monitor areas such as receptions and lobbies where there may be very intense external lighting and large stained glass windows.
All models, which use the H.264 compression method and include the option to use MJPEG compression, incorporate the multi-sequence function, which allows users to highlight and crop areas of interest so that the camera only sends the images that are inside that area, with the desired resolution and frame rate. If necessary, a complete image can be transmitted simultaneously as well as the multiple croppings of the entire viewing area with flexibility in the resolution and frame rate of the video, allowing a more intelligent and efficient use of the available network bandwidth.
The new models also include intelligent video analysis (VAT) to detect activity through various means such as face detection, integrity controller, in/out direction detection, object appearance and disappearance, and scene change manipulation, which creates an alert if paint is sprayed on the camera lens or unauthorized movement occurs that modifies its normal field of view. Alternatively, the motion detection technology built into the WiseNetIII DSP chipset can considerably reduce the number of false alarms by learning what the normal movement is in a scene and ignoring, for example, the leaves of trees waving.
Among its other features are the Digital Image Stabilization (DIS), which corrects the effects of vibrations, and the fog function, which can be used to improve the clarity of those images that have been captured in adverse weather conditions such as rain, smoke or fog. A built-in SD, SDHC and SDXC memory card slot gives authorized users the opportunity to remotely access and download videos that have been recorded to the memory card.
The six network models of the WiseNetIII range of 3 megapixels are:
SNB-7004, classic 3-megapixel network camera
SNO-7084R, weatherproof 3-megapixel bullet IR network camera
SND-7084, 3-megapixel network minidome
SND-7084R, 3 megapixel network IR minidome
SNV-7084, 3 megapixel vandal network minidome
SNV-7084R, 3 megapixel vandal network IR minidome
