Mexico. The most important airport in our country is Mexico City, which connects our country by air with the world and concentrates the highest percentages of passenger transfer and international commercial movements; followed also by 3 other important airports in our country: Cancun, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
Despite the fact that for years ago the AICM was declared saturated, the area demand grew by 6.4% between 2009 and 2015 for commercial transport and the flow of passengers increased 8% on average between 2009 and 2016, opening the possibility of innovating Mexico's airport infrastructure, building a much larger airport with an international terminal designed to receive up to 68 million passengers a year in 2020.
