New flexible and efficient video surveillance systems presented

Latin America. Axis Communications integrates new solutions to its broad portfolio, designed to meet the current needs of optimization of video surveillance systems of organizations. Specifically, the company of Swedish origin presents the AXIS FA series that integrates highly discreet modular cameras in addition to three new equipment that complement the AXIS P13 series: AXIS P1367 for indoors and AXIS P1367-E / AXIS P1368-E for outdoors with 4K resolution, enabling the coverage of wide environments with excellent image quality.

AXIS FA Series Discreet and Multi-Vision Surveillance
Axis FA series is based on a modular network camera concept, where the system is divided into one main equipment, AXIS FA54 and three sensor units: AXIS FA1105 with standard lens, AXIS FA1125 integrating small lenses, and AXIS FA4115 dome sensor with varifocal lens. This comprehensive solution allows indoor video surveillance to be more cost-effective and discreet since only using axis FA54 main camera, videos with 1080p HDTV resolution with full frame rate can be transmitted, coming from four sensor units connected simultaneously and using a single IP address.

AXIS FA54 uses Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) to capture optimized video on the move and in challenging light conditions. In addition, it has the ability to integrate advanced video analytics applications and has an HDMI port for connection to a public display monitor (PVM), which allows the system to be ideal for stores, offices, hotels and banks. Sensor units are small enough to be installed on surfaces such as building entrances or on devices, without attracting attention. They also include an optional 8-meter cable or 15-meter cable to be connected to AXIS FA54 main equipment.

"By separating the sensor units from the camera body, the system can be installed in tight spaces and blended with the environment for discreet surveillance. AXIS FA Series is very cost-effective as it offers customers the ability to cover multiple areas in one location with a high-performance camera system. In addition, the sensor unit that integrates a small lens is especially useful at the entrances of buildings to capture people's faces at eye level," says Francisco Ramírez, Country Manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

AXIS P13 series, 4K and 5 MP image quality for all light conditions
AXIS P1367 Indoor Network Cameras and AXIS P1367-E / AXIS P1368-E Outdoor Network Cameras add to AXIS P13 Series. They are ideal for the surveillance of urban areas, transport and shops. With optimized light sensitivity, better image quality and a higher frame rate, these devices can provide images in 4K resolution in environments with complicated light conditions, such as train platforms, crowded sites or parking lots.

AXIS P1367/-E supports i-CS and CS lenses, while AXIS P1368-E with 4K resolution integrates, by default, i-CS lenses. Both cameras have been designed specifically for outdoor use. They have an innovative mechanical platform that allows easy access to connectors, wiring and include more space for interchangeable targets. The built-in rails of these devices increase the flexibility of the camera, allowing the application of more powerful zoom lenses, granting greater detail according to the needs.

"AXIS P1367-E and AXIS P1368-E light cameras are designed for outdoor use and are not just equipment that are placed inside a housing, but for the first time, we have developed, from scratch, a CS-mount camera ready to be installed in outdoor locations. This has made it possible to offer a highly flexible system that can use zoom lenses and also optimize bandwidth," explains Francisco Ramírez, Country Manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
