International. Tyco Security Products introduced the new exacqVision M-Series, a network video recorder with excellent cost/benefit ratio very easy to install and use.
The exacqVision M-Series recorder expands the line of all-in-one recorders exacq launched in March with the LC-Series PoE+ camera recorders.
Similar to the higher capacity and power LC-Series recorders, the M-Series includes built-in ports for PoE cameras and exacqVision START video management software, which can be easily upgraded to Professional or Enterprise versions.
Users can connect up to eight IP cameras per recorder and thus view and manage recorded and live video directly from the recorder using the included exacqVision client or, remotely, from a web browser or from the exacqVision client on another computer. Using the free Exacq Mobile app users can view recorded and live video from their iOS or Android mobile devices.
"Our goal is always to provide our customers with the most intuitive video solutions with the best cost/benefit ratio," said Mauricio Cañas, Product and Marketing Manager of Tyco Security Products' Video Line for Latin America. "The exacqVision M-Series recorder fulfills that goal perfectly, because it offers unique PoE camera management and reliable video recording quality at an attractive price for smaller-scale applications."
Like all exacqVision recording solutions, M-Series is very easy to install, using the exacqVision EasyConnect function to automatically find, identify and connect Illustra cameras and other IP cameras to the network by automatically configuring motion-based recording functionalities.
This way, users can connect their IP cameras and start recording, which significantly reduces installation efforts and time. To further simplify maintenance tasks, recorders allow users to remotely monitor and control the power of individual cameras without the need to use separate switch management software.
