HID Global announced the availability of its latest DTC5500LMX ID card encoder/printer, which is part of its FARGO® Direct-to-Card (DTC®) line of printers, designed to meet the need for high-volume production of credentials held by government institutions, universities, healthcare institutions and other large corporations.
The company also announced its new FARGO HDP5600 card encoder/printer, based on its award-winning high-definition (HDP®) printing solutions for retail stores, recreational facilities, government entities and other organizations where brand image and visual safety are paramount.
HID Global's DTC5500LMX custom ID credentials green solution includes "no waste" lamination technology, which significantly reduces the costs of issuing cards. The new functionality allows budget-conscious organizations to issue, on a regular basis, large volumes of secure and durable credentials, without sacrificing quality.
