Latin America. Samsung Techwin surprises the market again with a significant reduction in the price of the cameras of the successful WiseNet Lite range so that all users can enjoy the advantages and benefits of high definition in IP cameras.
The three bullet cameras and seven domes in the WiseNet Lite range are designed to offer Samsung Techwin customers an affordable alternative to the WiseNetIII Open Platform models.
"After the excellent reception that this range has had in 2015, we believe it is important to extend it to all those who still do not enjoy it. That is why it has been decided to substantially reduce the price of the WiseNet Lite range to continue supporting installers and system integrators, and who can count on a wide variety of options that, together, fit all types of budgets and the functionality requirements of any video surveillance project", says José Luis Romero, General Manager Spain & Portugal at Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd.
"The WiseNet Lite range allows us to offer a high-performance video surveillance solution for small businesses and offices, where it is necessary to have high-definition cameras that capture images that can serve as expert evidence. But they are also an affordable solution for larger projects where many cameras may be needed in which only image quality prevails, "concludes Romero.
The 1.3-megapixel and 2-megapixel WiseNet Lite Full HD models share many of the features of the WiseNetIII range such as video analysis, motion detection, areas with privacy masks, audio compatibility, PoE and SD and SDHC memory card slot. They also feature LDC (Lens Distortion Correction), which compensates for image distortion by the effect of wide-angle lenses.
Samsung Techwin has also equipped WiseNet Lite cameras and domes with Hallway, a special display function for monitoring narrow vertical areas such as corridors, passageways and tunnels. This feature allows the camera to capture images with a 9:16 x 3:4 aspect ratio that works effectively in high and tight spaces, with the added value of minimizing bandwidth and video storage requirements.
