Latin America. Tyco Security Products introduces the new Illustra Essentials bullet and minidome IP cameras. These low-cost cameras offer a high-definition video solution.
Available in 1- and 2-megapixel outdoor minidome and bullet varifocal models, the new Illustra Essentials IP cameras offer users a wider field of view. These cameras use a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens. In addition to providing a wider field of view, Illustra Essentials varifocal cameras offer IR illumination and real day/night mode to capture high-quality video in low-light situations. Illustra Essentials cameras not only produce excellent quality color video in low light conditions, they also provide noise and storage cost reduction with very efficient bandwidth consumption.
Illustra Essentials varifocal cameras provide a wide, high-performance dynamic range to see different areas of high contrast at the same time. Ideal for changing lighting conditions, Illustra Essentials cameras perform excellently in regions with very bright and very dark areas. In addition, these cameras provide dual-stream H.264 and MJPEG encoding, and a maximum of 30 frames per second at 1080p or 720p to capture sharp and clear images.
Minidome cameras come with rugged IK10-rated enclosures for vandal protection.
"We are excited to continue adding new products to the Illustra Essentials IP camera portfolio to provide our customers with more high-quality camera options that are truly affordable," said Mauricio Cañas, Product and Marketing Manager of Tyco Security Products' Video Line for Latin America. "With the addition of the new varifocal cameras, Illustra cameras offer an ideal solution for optimal performance and easy installation."
Compatible with American Dynamics VideoEdge and exacqVision video management system (VMS) software and recorders, as well as the Holis recording platform, Illustra Essentials varifocal cameras can be easily configured to be integrated into a video surveillance system.
