Louroe Electronics in collaboration with Sound Intelligence announced the launch of its new Shot Detector. This is the second analytics solution that will be available through Louroe.
The Shot Detector integrates Louroe Verifact® microphones, select cameras and the most common video management software (VMS) systems. The solution has an excellent detection range, recognizing shots up to 1,000 meters in quiet environments and accurately analyzes shots from a variety of weapons including pistols, shotguns, rifles and automatic rifles.
The main value of the software is that it warns staff early in high-risk situations. Within seconds of a gunshot, the Gunshot Detector identifies and triggers an immediate notification to police or security guards, reducing reaction time. Louroe will exhibit the Shot Detector, along with all audio analytics, at ASIS 2015, booth number 2031.

With this new addition, Louroe now offers detectors for detection of aggression, bullet fire, glass breakage and detection of car alarms.
