Latin America. Network Video Technologies (NVT) puts at the service of integrators its new EC10 switch (Ethernet by coaxial), designed to support the most demanding IP cameras with high bandwidth capacity.
It is also important to emphasize that there is no decrease in speed over larger distances. With this solution, the manufacturer reinforces its commitment to offer solutions that enable the migration process to IP in an easy and economical way.
The EC10 is an unmanaged, ten-port device that has a power capable of transmitting Ethernet and PoE+ over coaxial cable with a range of 600 meters. It also has the ability to transmit 100Mbs (symmetrical, full duplex) and PoE+ through coaxial cable also with a range of 600 meters.
In addition to facilitating a quick, simple and economical migration to IP technology, the EC10 has other benefits such as:
* Accelerates ROI (Return on Investment), by lowering infrastructure costs.
* Radically reduces planning and implementation time.
* Eliminates risks, barriers, disruptions and costs related to infrastructure.
* Forms a robust IP platform that is easy to configure, deploy and manage.
Thanks to its innovative configuration, the EC10 is a non-manageable switch, which does not require configuration and its installation is fast, easy and
it does not generate interruptions. Each of its downlink ports has enough bandwidth capacity to support multiple endpoints and when the EC4 media converter is used together, it is possible to connect up to 4 IEEE-compliant devices to a single coaxial cable at a distance of up to 600 meters.
It should be noted that ec-link and EC4 (high-energy media converters for NVT CLEER and EC10 switches) are compatible with IP endpoint devices, taking advantage of these devices. In addition, the EC-Link can easily be converted to function as an Ethernet extender, using in EC-Link on the base unit and an additional media converter (either another EC-Link or EC4) on the other end.
The EC10 is now available in Latin America.
