The three bullet cameras and seven domes in the new WiseNet Lite range are designed to offer Samsung Techwin customers an affordable alternative to the Open Platform WiseNetIII models.

The 1.3-megapixel and 2-megapixel WiseNet Lite Full HD models share many of the features of the WiseNetIII range such as video analysis, motion detection, areas with privacy masks, audio compatibility, PoE and SD and SDHC memory card slot. They also feature LDC (Lens Distortion Correction), which compensates for image distortion by the effect of wide-angle lenses.
Samsung Techwin has also equipped WiseNet Lite cameras and domes with Hallway, a special display function for monitoring narrow vertical areas such as corridors, passageways and tunnels. This feature allows the camera to capture images with a 9:16 x 3:4 aspect ratio that works effectively in high and tight spaces, with the added value of minimizing bandwidth and video storage requirements.
