International. Boon Edam Inc. announces the launch of BoonAssist TQ, a new manual revolving door that provides unprecedented ease of use in the revolving door line.
BoonAssist TQ offers a unique combination of three functions: push and go, speed control and positioning, also known in the industry as quarterpointing (the door returns to a point corresponding to a quarter of its size).
The new door was developed in response to customers' request for a revolving door that offered comfort, intuitive operation and safety, as an alternative to automatic revolving doors that were too large or expensive.
BoonAssist TQ is also designed for a wider range of applications, due to the increase in its size, up to three meters in diameter and three meters in ceiling height, which offers a more spacious interior and provides greater comfort to users.
The difference made by BoonAssist TQ
* Assisted rotation. When a user pushes the door leaf, a fuel-efficient motor is activated and, harnessing the kinetic energy of the user's initial thrust, rotates the door to minimize the effort required.
* Speed control. When the door leaf is pushed too hard, a built-in brake mechanism is activated to ensure that the rotational speed remains within the standards set by the industry for safe circulation.
* Positioning. After a user leaves the door, it continues to rotate until it reaches the "starting position", with the leaves pointing to each side of the door mouth. The positioning function facilitates the circulation of the next user and minimizes air infiltration.
Two styles BoonAssist TQ comes in two styles that harmonize with all types of building facades and meet all the requirements of branding:
* BoonAssist TQM - Metal frame construction with metal canopy, comes in a wide variety of metallic finishes, coatings or painted with custom colors.
* BoonAssist Crystal - Glass construction with stainless steel fastening components that can have finishes in other metals or painted with other custom colors.
