Latin America. Honeywell announced the launch of Honeywell Cloud Services for radio security solutions, Le Sucre and Domonial. Thanks to Honeywell Cloud Services and Le Sucre, end users now have a complete self-managed security solution with remote control.
Le Sucre is a radio safety system with a small and discreet design, developed in response to the needs of end users and that can be placed anywhere in the house. By registering with Honeywell Cloud Services, Le Sucre allows the self-management of a high-quality security system with peripherals connected by radio frequency (RF) technology and the same software used for Domonial products.
Honeywell Cloud Services includes Honeywell's Total Connect 2.0E web application that through a simple interface allows users to easily assemble, disarm or check the status of the security system from anywhere in the world. Also, if the owner has one or more Honeywell CAMIR-F1 motion sensors installed, they can have the sensor record images at any time and save them to the cloud.
One of the advantages of Le Sucre is that it does not require a specific Internet connection to connect the security system to the cloud. Each panel includes its own SIM card, which works in roaming in numerous countries across Europe. In addition, the SIM card contract is included in the cost of the equipment for the end user for two years.
Le Sucre supports motion sensors, inertial door/contact contacts, panic buttons, smoke and carbon monoxide sensors and sends alerts of power failure, low battery and flood detection. This offers great peace of mind to end users, who will be alerted by email when an alarm is triggered and will be able to access detailed information about a specific event by connecting to the Total Connect 2.0E web application.
Honeywell Cloud Services also integrates with the Domonial security solution with connection to alarm receiving center (CRA). By integrating with the Total Connect 2.0E web app, owners can manage their security system remotely from their smartphone, tablet or computer. Additionally, with the help of Honeywell's new smart plugs, customers can control lighting and heating systems, measure consumption and save on energy and costs.
