Vivotek launches three new PoE extenders

International. In its constant efforts to bring to market long-range surveillance systems with simpler and easier implementations, Vivotek announced the launch of its three new PoE extenders: the 4-port indoor PoE extender, AP-FXC-0400; the 1-port outer PoE extender, AP-FXC-0150; and the 2-port outer PoE extender, AP-FXC-0250.

When it comes to building long-distance surveillance systems, fixing cable length limitation and power supply issues are always the biggest challenges for system integrators and installers. Given the limitations of data transfer over Ethernet, the previous maximum distance between a PoE switch and network cameras was 100 meters. However, with Vivotek's new PoE extension technology, system integrators and installers can now build wider networks while maintaining reliability.

Performing well its ongoing commitment to being a provider of total surveillance solutions, Vivotek has developed a 4-port indoor PoE extender, the AP-FXC-0400; a 1-port outdoor PoE extender, the AP-FXC-0150; and a 2-port outdoor PoE extender, the AP-FXC-0250. Vivotek now has the AP-FXC-0400, AP-FXC-0150 and AP-FXC-0250, these injectors are the ideal choices for installers - users can enjoy high quality and a robust surveillance system without the need for additional power supplies.

AP-FXC-0400 4-Port Indoor PoE Extender: The AP-FXC-0400 is especially ideal for a wall-mount application. With 1 PoE Input port and 4 Output PoE Ports, the extender can connect with 1 high power PoE switch on the front while connecting with 4 network cameras on the front. All connections allow you to add up to 100 meters of connectivity to the existing network.

In addition, designed with IP66 rated cover, both PoE extenders can withstand a wide temperature range between -20°C ~ 60°C. With the adoption of Vivotek's AP-FXC-0150 and AP-FXC-0250, installers can easily build a high-quality and robust outdoor surveillance system, while maintaining reliability in its integrity and stability.
