Latin America. Axis Communications increased the capabilities and features of its AXIS Q6045-E security camera with new features and improved image quality. The most advanced PTZ model in its portfolio of more than 100 cameras increased the zoom from 20x to 32x.
This makes it possible to identify the license plate of a vehicle that is 300 meters away. The new version of the Q6045-E incorporates twice the sensitivity to low light, going from 0.6 lux to only 0.3 lux, which provides better quality images at night.
For foggy environments, the update added defog functionality, which improves visibility in those situations by making automatic digital compensation, performing the scene. Another advantage is that it is now possible to capture videos on HDTV at 60 frames per second, double the normal speed. The Axis Q6045-E camera is still vandalism-proof (IK10 rated), and can generate an automatic alarm as soon as it is attacked, thanks to its shock detection system.
It is also protected against overvoltage, dust, rain and snow. Suitable for extremely hot or cold climates, it can operate under temperatures from -50°C to 50°C. The camera is smart and already comes with some video analytics, such as identifying removed objects, counting people and detecting inputs/outputs, as well as being able to be integrated with many of the intelligent video analysis software.
The new version AXIS Q6045-E Mk II is now available to the market, without price variations.
