International. Samsung Techwin has equipped its new range of 960H cameras with an impressive list of innovative features that allow you to record color images to 700 TV lines in high resolution in low light conditions.
Surely, one of the most interesting features from the point of view of an installer is the option of Simple Focus, since it contributes to reduce installation costs, as it takes less time to start up the cameras.
The two domes and the camera of the new 960H range feature advanced dynamic range (WDR) extension that compensates for backlighting with 128 times greater efficiency than conventional dynamic range expansion. Add to this Samsung's Super Dynamic Range (SSDR), which automatically adjusts the dark areas of an image, and Samsung's Super Noise Reduction (SSNRIII), and ensure high-quality images in a variety of challenging environments, even in lighting conditions as low as 0.1 lux.
The new models also use progressive scanning technology to optimize the recording of high-quality videos of moving objects, which makes it possible, for example, that vehicle license plates can be read without blurring the image by movement.
All it takes to focus the camera automatically using the Simple Focus option is to press the button on the back of the camera. The Simple Focus option can also be activated remotely using a DVR with coaxial control. Another significant benefit is that Simple Focus automatically optimizes the focus needed for crisp, clear images when the camera's True Day/Night feature switches from color to monochrome.
All cameras in this range include intelligent video analysis, which helps count people or detect activity through various means such as the integrity controller and detection of direction of entry / exit, appearance and disappearance of objects and scene change manipulation, which creates an alert if paint is sprayed on the lens of the camera or there is an unauthorized movement of it that moves it away from its normal field of vision.
As expected, the three new models are 100% compatible with the DVRs of the 960H series of Samsung Techwin that, since its launch in the market last March, have established a new standard in digital video recording because users get an immediate improvement in the resolution of live or recorded images, that can be played back on a high-definition monitor.
The three models of the 960H series are:
SCB-3003: classic camera
SCD-3083: dome with 3.6x motorized varifocal lens
SCV-3083: IP66 vandal-resistant dome with 3.6x motorized varifocal lens
