Colombia. Digiware security analysts detected and contained an attack that sought to steal information from the networks of several major companies in the country. Such an attack was generated first from an IP address located in Korea and then in Russia.The security company managed to prevent the hacker from finding the weak point of security in one of the business networks by which he could steal a database, make a bank fraud or disable a website. The professionals managed to detect the cybercriminal, follow their movements and neutralize their actions.
Fabian Zambrano, manager of managed security services at Digiware, says the hacker's main mistake was not realizing that the security company was watching him.
