Hackers place malware on certain pirate websites and direct users to them, these pages, through a targeted download method, infect the computer with viruses and install a fake antivirus solution. Once the computer has been infected, the user is informed of the presence of harmful software on their system and is warned that it is only possible to disinfect it through the security solution they are offered to buy. The user uses his credit card to acquire this solution and, then, the cybercriminals obtain the bank details.
