Colombia. The ESS+ 2025 International Security Fair was held at Corferias Bogotá from August 27 to 29, bringing together companies, professionals and government entities around electronic security, video surveillance, artificial intelligence (AI) and data management technologies.
Axis Communications showed its most current portfolio in this edition, in which the ARTPEC-9 chip, which seeks to minimize the use of physical storage and improve image manipulation, and the Axis Cloud Connect cloud platform stand out.
The company also introduced the AXIS S1228 server, which is optimized with artificial intelligence and can search through natural language; AXIS C1710 and C1720 network speakers, which combine on-screen text, sound, and strobe to sound alerts; and the AXIS D6210 environmental sensor, intended to monitor humidity, temperature, and contaminants in commercial and industrial areas.
During the event, Luis Bonilla, Business Development and Engineering Manager for Latin America at Axis, led the conference "AI + IoT: The Digital Transformation of Electronic Security", which addressed topics such as cybersecurity in connected systems, cloud storage, interoperability and advanced analytics applied to business intelligence.
The company also highlighted the role of its technology partners – Incoresoft, Vaelsys, ISS, Magos, Radwin and Commscope – in building end-to-end solutions.
Another of the announcements was the incorporation of body cameras, devices used by security personnel, law enforcement agencies, workers in the health and transport sectors, among others, in order to reinforce the protection of people and processes.
