Argentina. The city of Gualeguaychú launched the first municipal Huawei ICT academy in Latin America. The proposal was officially presented in the presence of local authorities and representatives of the technology sector, in an event that inaugurates a new area of technical training in the area.
The Huawei ICT Academy Gualeguaychú will be in charge of the Knowledge Development Center and will offer free training and official certifications in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, networks and cloud services. The program seeks to provide tools for labor insertion in high-demand technological sectors.
At the event, Juan Ignacio Olano, Secretary of Human Development, said: "This Academy symbolizes the constant dedication of our administration towards the education and advancement of each citizen of Gualeguaychú." We are building links to the future, providing authentic opportunities for personal and professional growth.
For his part, Gustavo Costanzo, head of the Knowledge Development Center, said: "The Huawei ICT Academy is not only a training center, it is a gateway to a world of possibilities, where innovation and employability are within everyone's reach."
The establishment of this centre was achieved through a joint collaboration between the public and private sectors. With this inauguration, Gualeguaychú aims to enhance local digital skills and expand the training proposal in cybersecurity and information technologies. According to its promoters, the goal is to establish foundations for economic growth, focusing on specialized training.
The choice of Gualeguaychú for this initiative responds, according to local authorities, to the interest in consolidating a technical profile in the region. The municipal Huawei ICT Academy joins other strategies aimed at expanding access to knowledge and promoting key skills for the digital labor market.
