Prosegur increases security in Peruvian companies thanks to its iSOCs

Prosegur robustece la seguridad de empresas peruanas mediante sus iSOC

Peru. Prosegur Security's iSOC (Security Operations Center) is a concept that integrates technology, people and real-time data analysis with the aim of monitoring, detecting, analysing and responding to security incidents in an organisation.

Information security management with an operations center within a company allows for a faster and more effective response to possible cyber threats, thus protecting assets and people, preventing accidents, and effectively supervising all production processes.

Prosegur has a global network of 14 iSOCs strategically distributed in countries such as Colombia, the United States, Spain, Paraguay, Chile, China, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Portugal and Singapore. This infrastructure, made up of more than 1,000 operators, supports 5,000 customers, 25,000 business centers, 2.5 million alarms managed monthly, 250,000 monitored cameras and 20,000 supervised GPS devices.

In this sense, the iSOC is not only a technological tool, but a trained team committed to the safety of its customers. Thanks to its expertise and technology, the iSOC provides a comprehensive view of operations, allowing you to detect and respond to threats proactively, minimizing risks and ensuring business continuity. Thus, this security control center offers significant advantages such as the standardization and centralization of security controls, providing a comprehensive view of an organization's infrastructure, allowing centralized monitoring of all access points and early detection of possible threats.

Screening in Peru
There are already more than 150 companies in the country from different economic sectors that have opted for Hybrid Security and implemented this modern and innovative scheme through Prosegur's iSOC.

"The iSOC acts as the brain of our operations, as it exchanges information in real time with people thanks to our advanced technological systems, which allows us to act optimally and effectively in terms of incidents that may arise," says Gian Franco Maza, general manager of Prosegur Security in Peru.

Innovation and cutting-edge technology
The iSOC combines state-of-the-art technology, intelligent data processing and the human component to remotely manage security services and business processes for different customers. With the ability to analyse large amounts of data and provide valuable insights through the Prosegur Connect platform, the iSOC is a strategic tool for any company looking to optimise its operations and ensure security.

Meanwhile, the process control service provides customers with key information about their business activity. Through video surveillance systems, operators perform remote analysis and observe critical aspects of the operation in real time and in delayed mode, assisted by artificial intelligence. This allows reports and statistics to be prepared on the compliance of the business processes defined for each client, facilitating the taking of measures to improve operational efficiency.

The iSOC offers remote monitoring in several key areas:

  • Movement of goods: guarantees compliance with protocols in the loading, unloading and movement of goods.
  • Fraud: Detects suspicious fraud activity in payment processes and cash movements.
  • Order and cleanliness: review the order and cleanliness status of the customer's units centrally.
  • Internal rules: ensures compliance with internal rules and protocols at the customer's facilities.
  • Health and safety: Controls compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
  • Customized Monitoring: Adjust each client's business-specific monitoring.

With this in mind, iSOC enables efficient and comprehensive remote monitoring for multiple sites, using devices already installed, standardizing and centralizing controls. This facilitates replication in different centers and helps to establish a global standard, guaranteeing effectiveness in risk prevention and process improvement without a direct link with the supervised personnel.

This service is adaptable to each customer's specific processes and controls, allowing for rigorous monitoring, providing customized reports ready for action. These reports detail the controls and supervision carried out, providing the client with valuable information for decision-making and continuous improvement of their processes.

On the other hand, the iSOC process control service provides customers with key information about their business activity. Through its systems, critical aspects of the operation can be observed in real time or in deferred mode, facilitating informed and timely decision-making to improve efficiency and safety.
