Latin America. Vertiv announced the appointment of the executive, who will now lead the Sales team to maximize the potential of the growing data center market.
The company said that Sasaki's new responsibilities include managing sales operations, named accounts and channel sales activities, as well as strategic support for customers in Latin America.
Sasaki has more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector, where he has served as an advisor in the sales process, analyzing each client's critical infrastructure challenges and identifying new opportunities for process improvement and growth.
At Vertiv, he previously held the position of Director of Technology Applications and Order Management, Technical Sales Management, Applications and Order Processes, as well as Product Manager for the Latin American channel.

Sasaki replaces Rafael Garrido as vice president for the Latin America region, who is leaving Vertiv to pursue new opportunities.
Currently, Vertiv's presence in Latin America is through sales and service offices in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil and Chile, in addition to manufacturing plants and engineering centers in Mexico. In addition, Vertiv products are available in most countries through distribution agreements and channel sales through the Vertiv Partner Program.
