Mexico. The company Alai Secure confirmed that it will present its latest innovations in M2M/IoT connectivity for the GPS sector, designed to make a leap to vehicular telematics.
Alai Secure will participate as an exhibitor and speaker in the twenty-fourth edition of the event, to be held between May 22 and 24. The Monterrey Transport and Logistics Suppliers Expo is considered one of the most representative of its kind and this year 10,000 visitors are expected to attend, who will be able to access new business opportunities.
At stands 8 and 10, the company will present its latest developments in the areas of GPS and vehicle telematics, an area driven in recent years by strong market demand and the evolution of technologies associated with the Internet of Things ecosystem.
"Even though GPS technology has been around for decades, the advent of IoT has altered the way GPS-based apps and devices are used. This has allowed us to evolve towards the vehicular telematics we know today, allowing our customers and partners in this industry to innovate, optimize their operations and develop new value-added uses," said Carlos Valenciano, CEO of Alai Secure.
Paper
On Thursday, May 23, David Martín del Campo, account manager of Alai Secure in Mexico, will give the presentation 'Smart Roads: The Role of IoT in the Optimization of Transport and Logistics', during which he will clarify the advantages of going hand in hand with an M2M/IoT operator that helps take traditional geolocation to the next level.
According to the executive, the safety of the driver, the vehicle and the cargo are some of the 'pains' of the sector, along with the permanent need to have efficient control of fleets.
Trajectory
Alai Secure has more than 18 years of experience in the field of GPS and vehicle telematics. This has allowed it to develop success stories with companies such as MUB, originally from Medellín, which is committed to sustainable mobility and specializes in the manufacture of intelligent vehicles.
Likewise, with Isaga, a company based in Medellín, whose Safe Route project helps families know where their children are on the route to school; or Mapon, a company specialized in the control and management of fleets in several countries.
According to Alai Secure, all these companies have in common their search for a secure and robust solution that would allow them to standardize their communications, which they achieved thanks to their multi-coverage M2M/IoT SIM.
