Mexico. The organizers of the international event announced that one of the novelties of the 21st edition will be the holding of a breakfast organized by the Women in Security Forum (WISF).
The call seeks to promote greater female participation in leadership positions, as well as the visualization and awareness of the role of women in the industry.
According to Laura Barrera, director of Expo Seguridad Mexico and Expo Seguridad Industrial, the WISF event is an initiative of the Security Industry Associations (SIA) to promote the professional development, relationship and updating of women working in the public and private security sectors.
"The Women in Security Forum is made up of men and women interested in involving security experts committed to the promotion, recruitment, and leadership of women in this industry, in order to stimulate inclusion and diversification," Barrera explained.
The WISF breakfast will be held on April 17, starting at 8:30 am, at the Citibanamex Center, home of Expo Seguridad Mexico.
