International. Axis Communications introduced an analytical application that combines 180° radar detection and 180° panoramic multi-sensor imaging for greater situational control with a minimum number of false alarms.
According to the manufacturer, this solution is ideal for monitoring large open spaces, as it detects people accurately, at a distance of up to 60 meters, as well as vehicles at up to 85 meters, also showing their speed.
Axis has also reported that its Radar Data Visualizer allows you to get more out of the brand's panoramic multi-sensor cameras. The analytics application is responsible for obtaining and processing information from the radar and displaying it through customizable visual overlays on the camera feed.
This information can trigger events. For example, it is possible to turn on strobe lights, trigger alarms, or start recording when an object crosses a predefined virtual line in the camera view.
Similarly, thanks to edge-to-edge technology, you can connect to compatible panoramic cameras for visual verification with 180° coverage with no blind spots (compatible with AXIS P3827-PVE and later).
