Mexico. The City Council announced that the putting into service of the new video surveillance devices will begin in December of this year.
The initiative includes the adaptation of a C2 equipped with a video wall for monitoring the system, a task that will be carried out through 40 smart points, each of which will have four surveillance cameras.
The 1,150 cameras included include 500 cameras that will be distributed among the different Neighborhood Security Committees that the city has.
Ana Patricia Peralta de la Peña, current municipal president, indicated that her administration continues to work together with companies and businesses to connect a total of 4,400 cameras to C5 and C2 systems.
In addition, he reported that the renovation of the equipment corresponding to the security forces and the acquisition of new patrols are being advanced, while the creation of a new C2 system exclusively for the hotel zone is being managed.
