Armatura advances in its commercial expansion in Latin America

armatura mexico

Latin America. Through its growth, Armatura makes available to the regional market a wide range of advanced multimodal biometric access control solutions, ideal for medium and large corporations with the need for systems manageable from a single location.

According to the company, its unified solutions help protect everything from a door in a restricted area of an embassy or government building, to bank vaults, cells in prisons and parking lots, among others.

Francisco Medina, general manager of Armatura Mexico, commented that access control needs have evolved because every day it is more frequent to hear company directors ask for solutions that can effectively face cybersecurity challenges. From the technological point of view, the brand offers multispectral palm biometrics solutions establishing a double authentication system, by reading the hand and veins.

"Our solutions use TLS, AES256, OSDP and many other security mechanisms at the software level, as well as each hardware device is equipped with EAL6+ cryptographic chips providing data encryption at all system connection points, both at the hardware and software level. We are confident that we have arrived at the right time, when companies are looking for technology providers of the highest level, such as Armatura," said the executive.

Business career
Five years ago, Armatura was established as an independent brand specialized in the development of access control systems. The first step for its expansion in Latin America was taken in 2022, when the company arrived in Mexico. There, a team of executives was given the task of identifying the needs of the market in high-level access control issues.

"The first projects that are being developed in Mexico have reached record figures. These are implementations that easily exceed several million dollars. That speaks to the quality of the brand and the confidence of working with a company highly specialized in unified access control systems," Medina said.

Armatura has research and development centers at its headquarters in Atlanta and in India. Its factory is located in Thailand, with a production area exceeding 30,000 square feet.

"We are proud that the first steps in the region have been quite solid. This is just the beginning, we are sure that in the short term the market will recognize us in the Top 3 of brands focused on advanced access control solutions, "added the executive, who said that more details will be released soon about the growth plans of the brand in the region.
