Colombia. The integrator of security solutions, Spectra Ingeniería, celebrates in this 2023 its first 20 years of services focused on the installation and development of projects for different verticals in this country.
Spectra has occupied the first positions in different versions of the Top 100 LATAM Security Integrators published by Security Sales.
About the anniversary, we spoke with Mauricio Zuluaga, general manager of the company, who shared the sensations generated by seeing that the company has already reached its first 20 years.
"In 2003, Spectra was born as a dream with a single employee, today we are more than 180 collaborators making part of this dream. Therefore there are only feelings of gratitude with our customers, suppliers and collaborators, who have made it possible for these 20 years to have been of constant growth".
Mauricio also highlighted some of the most important moments that the company has lived throughout these 20 years: "For integrators every year is a new challenge and it is not easy to choose a few important moments, but to mention a few, in these 20 years we had to move from analog technology to IP in CCTV and that allowed us to position ourselves in the market not only in Colombia but also in Panama. "
The executive added that they have also created new spaces that are in tune with the current needs of the market: "Every time there are new technologies that force us to be in constant change, one of them is that within Spectra we decided to have an Artificial Intelligence Software development department and we are going to celebrate 2 years consolidating this project".
Future plans
As short and medium term projects, Spectra Ingeniería is committed to expanding its portfolios including telecommunications and automation lines. "This allows us, together with the development of AI Software, to offer much more complete solutions to our customers," added Mauricio.
