Hikvision presented its new learning and certification platform

Hikvision eLearning

Mexico. Hikvision announced the launch in Mexico of its new learning and certification platform "Hikvision eLearning".

This platform is designed to improve the skills of security professionals, as well as those of beginners starting out in the industry, through theoretical-practical courses and certifications.

Fran Sanchez, director of marketing & communications at Hikvision Mexico, said: "This program is open to anyone who wants to start a career in the security industry. Our training courses are designed to help industry professionals from different backgrounds grow quickly and achieve their goals. Hikvision has assembled a professional and international team of Hikvision-certified trainers and instructors, who will help people multiply and renew their security knowledge. Upon completion of the appropriate courses and exams, they will be qualified as a Certified General Security Associate or Certified General Security Professional."

Curriculum
Hikvision offers comprehensive and diverse courses ranging from fundamental skills to system design. The breadth of the courses will offer foundational instruction for all groups of students. Optional programs that focus on knowledge in addition to universal and Hikvision-specific skills. They are also offered on the e-learning platform, such as:

A) General Security Certification Program: focused on universal knowledge and skills needed in the security industry, from technical principles to typical solution design. This program helps individuals and organizations demonstrate their proficiency in the security business.

B) Hikvision Security Certification Program: This revolves around Hikvision's products and solutions in particular, covering system configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and more. This program aims to enable the rapid transfer of the brand's technical and product capabilities to distributors, system integrators and installers.

Fran Sanchez explained that "Hikvision eLearning" offers flexible approaches for different students, including self-paced learning – learners can take video-based courses anytime, anywhere – and instructor-led training both on-site and online.
