International. Johnson Controls has sealed a deal with Nozomi Networks, an expert in operational technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) security, which gives Johnson Controls the ability to use Nozomi Networks' suite of tools to benefit its customers on cybersecurity issues.
Johnson Controls also participated in last year's $100 million funding round for Nozomi Networks.

Johnson Controls recently announced the purchase of Tempered Networks, which will be integrated into the OpenBlue platform, a flexible computing approach to converged building technologies and make those technologies more insightful, powerful and optimized. Tempered Networks protects secure building data from the edge to the cloud with Zero Trust-based Airwall technology. Nozomi Networks' capabilities can further expand the capabilities of a customer's IoT infrastructure by providing additional cybersecurity threat monitoring and visibility features and functionalities.
Nozomi Networks solutions support more than 74 million devices across thousands of facilities in energy, manufacturing, mining, transportation, utilities, building automation, smart cities, and critical infrastructure. Nozomi Networks' products can be deployed on-site and in the cloud, spanning IT, OT, and IoT to automate the work of inventorying, visualizing, and monitoring industrial control networks through the innovative use of artificial intelligence. Use cases go beyond cybersecurity and include troubleshooting, asset management, and predictive maintenance.
