Mexico. From the magazine Ventas de Seguridad we give a balance of our participation in Expo Seguridad Mexico 2022. An event that brought together, for 3 days in Mexico City, the greatest exponents of Latin America around physical, cyber and industrial security.
This exhibition, which also hosted a side event of Expo Seguridad Industrial Mexico, was held at the Citibanamex convention and exhibition center, an ideal venue for its large size to house the hundreds of stands and exhibitors, as well as the thousands of attendees who visited the facilities from June 28 to 30.
Thus, they were 3 days full of specialized talks, important commercial activity for brands and a great technological deployment, with solutions for everything in the industry and needs.
It is noteworthy that, within the interviews that we were able to carry out, all the brands and integrators agreed that this type of meetings, which for some congregate a good part of their audience, are made relevant by the need to recognize from the face-to-face to the allies of the industry. For all of them it was vital to see the other as a peer in the real world, to reaffirm that commercial affinity and continue to build relationships, both stable and lasting.
In that same sense, several attendees affirmed the online catalogs fell short of this type of event, because being there, seeing and testing live the quality of the solutions, allowed them to have confidence in a more agile way in the brands with which they had not previously interacted.
For us as a medium it was also gratifying to be able to attend, to be in the dynamics of the event such as the inauguration and activation carried out by ConsorcioTec in its pavilion, to interact with the representatives of the brands and to interview them.
Finally, we consider that the day of Expo Seguridad México 2022 had a positive balance, both in exhibitors and in the number of attendees, which will surely be much broader for the 2023 version.
