Chile. Ikusi participated in the integration of security systems in the new terminal of the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Santiago de Chile, which was inaugurated last February and represented an investment of US $ 1,000 million.
The integrating company explained that it carried out the projects of integration of professional services of the operational systems, intelligence of the processes between airlines, passengers and the operator Nuevo Pudahuel and the integration of the passenger security systems, centralized in the Security Control Center of the airport. All this is based on state-of-the-art technology, both virtual and physical, with the highest standards in the market.
Likewise, Ikusi is providing outsourcing services for the support and maintenance of the implemented systems.
Ikusi highlighted the experience of more than 40 years that they have within the airport sector and that he has developed in more than 140 airports around the world, in multiple airports in Chile (Carriel Sur Airport, Diego Aracena Airport, Araucanía Airport, as well as actively collaborating in the new projects of the Austral Network) and different countries in the region such as Peru, Mexico, Panama or Brazil.
The new airport facilities generate a new gateway to abroad and doubled the capacity of the venue, which is now 38 million passengers a year, compared to the 13 million it could previously accommodate.
