Latin America. Hanwha Techwin revealed its new line of security cameras, these are the -Core AI and X-Plus AI series, which offer AI-based object detection in the sector for false alarm reduction analysis, AI-enhanced image quality and edge-based business intelligence.
The new NDAA-compliant line brings the power of Artificial Intelligence to Hanwha Techwin's popular X series. The X-Core and X-Plus cameras incorporate a powerful analysis system, without the need for a license, which improves the efficiency of the operator both in the notification of events in real time and in the search after them.
The X-Plus camera lineup continues the promise of modular design started with the previous generation of X-Plus cameras with simple magnetic mounting for camera modules. Users with existing X-Plus cameras can simply fit the AI-enabled X-Plus camera modules into the desired location.

Analytical
The new X-series cameras use AI to detect and classify people, vehicles, faces, license plates and more in real time. With a range of resolutions available from 2MP to 4K, the cameras' Deep Learning algorithms can safely identify multiple different objects. False alarms due to uninteresting movements, such as wind-blown trees, shadows or animals, are significantly reduced.
AI-based image enhancements
AI can also play an important role in image quality. WiseNR II noise reduction is a new enhancement that uses AI to identify the movement of objects and reduce blur in noisy, low-light environments. AI-based preferred shutter technology automatically adjusts shutter speed based on moving classified objects and lighting conditions in a scene to reduce motion blur and deliver the sharpest images.
AI-based bandwidth reduction with WiseStream III
Using the results of AI-based object detection, WiseStream III technology adjusts the video encoder to focus the highest video quality on objects detected in a scene while reducing encoding in the rest of the scene. When combined with H.265 compression technology, this user-adjustable feature can provide a data reduction of up to 80% depending on the environment.
Extreme WDR and WiseIR
Wisenet X AI's extreme WDR uses scene analysis technology to optimize differences such as tone and contrast during frame synthesis to minimize motion artifacts. In addition, local contrast enhancement technology, which emphasizes high-frequency areas step by step, improves the detail and clarity of images.
WiseIR technology adjusts the output of infrared LEDs based on the zoom increase of the cameras. In a wide field of view, minimize the dark areas of the outside of the image using IR LEDs uniformly. When the lens is focused more closely (telephoto), IR LEDs become more concentrated to illuminate distant objects.

AI-based analytics aren't just for security, they also bring a wealth of actionable data to operations, marketing, and sales departments. With AI-based object detection, companies can get highly accurate people counts, row management data, and heat maps that show detailed patterns of behavior.
