It is curious to note that the only entity where this crime presented a decrease was in the Federal District, when a decrease of 5.7 percent occurred.
During the press event where the report was released, it was stated that the five states with the highest number of robberies, represent 69% of the national total of such incidents.

IMPACT OF CRIME
It is worth mentioning that according to the AMIS report, 624 of the 2,447 municipalities in the Republic are affected by crime. In this way, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Ecatepec de Morelos, Chihuahua, Culiacán, including the Gustavo A. Madero, Iztapalapa and Cuauhtémoc delegations, are listed among the populations with the highest incidence of car theft in the country.
As for the first three municipalities with the highest number of robberies with violence are: Ecatepec de Morelos, with 69% of cases, followed by the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl, with 65%, both in the State of Mexico, and finally the municipality of Culiacán, the capital city of Sinaloa, with 63% of the average.
Finally, it is important to highlight that of the 23 million cars that circulate in the national territory, only 47 percent are insured, that is, around 11 million motor vehicles, which shows on the one hand, the lack of a culture of risk insurance, but on the other hand the level of vulnerability that the population has if an accident occurs; which leads to a third guess: The available market is still immense. 
