Latin America. With a virtual event, this Thursday, April 7, Dahua Technology commemorated its creation of HDCVI technology, in a space where it talked about its evolution, perspectives and improvements.
The event presented by Laura Prada and Jaime Zamora, Dahua's distribution account manager, was attended by business partners, integrators, installers, distributors, subdistributors and end customers.

The space began with the words of Jason Zhao, junior vice president and general manager of overseas business, where he stressed that the simple and smooth upgrade of HDCVI technology "allows hundreds of millions of traditional analog video surveillance users around the world to truly enjoy the benefits provided by this technological revolution." "Over the past decade, HDCVI has led the HD-over-coax industry to scale new heights."
It is relevant to emphasize that this technology has allowed the analog video surveillance industry to improve its definition standards. Moreover, a year after its launch, thanks to its contributions, the HDcctv Alliance made it an international standard.
This space, where this technology, its evolution and the current offers made by Dahua were discussed in depth. It was broadcast from the showroom in Bogotá (Colombia). Álvaro Salcedo Reyes, specialist of the brand, was in charge of making a detailed account of the evolution of the HDCVI, as well as the improvements in the Cooper-I and Full Color lines, as well as talking with different guests to deepen about the benefits and scope of this technology.

Within this talk he highlighted that, within the characteristics of his HDCVI cameras, the 5MP Reales changed its video output for the 16:9 ratio, with which now the image is more harmonious. Real-time 4K doubles the image rate by offering 30fps. The Enhanced AI of HDCVI6.0 PLUS ensures alarm accuracy, with a false alarm rate of less than 2%, where it even distinguishes the movement of trees to not take it into account. CBR-based AI Coding only needs 50% of bandwidth and storage space compared to H.265.
A curiosity of the day was the performance of a magician who, interacting with different cameras and object recognition, showed several features of HDCVI technology. Finally, this celebration, which also featured greetings and pre-recorded comments from different customers, culminated with an awards ceremony for the attendees who participated from the chat.
