The Abloy brand presented this novel lock as the latest addition to its Abloy Beat line, high-end locks designed for the professional physical protection of critical infrastructure, companies and industrial sites that, in addition to safeguarding property, offers customers to reduce logistics and costs. This solution is designed for sectors such as telecommunications, transport, water and energy.

Operation
The padlocks are operated by the Beat mobile app, which provides a digital key. They can also be integrated with third-party systems or added to the customer's existing workflow, thanks to application programming interfaces (APIs). Currently this system is available with removable arches of 25 mm and 50 mm long.
To conclude, this padlock, which features a cemented steel body, is designed to work in harsh environments and remote areas. Moreover, it has the protection ratings IP66, IP68 and grade 3 EN16864: 2017, which is the European standard for mechatronic padlocks.
