Johnson Controls nombra nueva Vice President & General Manager, Building Solutions

Latin America. Johnson Controls announced the appointment of Rita Rodríguez as Vice President & General Manager, Building Solutions, for Latin America, a position she has held since January 1, 2022.

Rodriguez will report to Tomas Brannemo, Vice President & President, Building Solutions, EMEALA. He comes to this new role after leading Strategy and Business Operations for the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America region.

"Rita brings great depth and knowledge to this role since her time as Strategy & Transformation Director for Latin America in 2018-2019 and extensive experience in growth strategy and execution since serving as Vice President of Strategy and Business Operations for our EMEALA organization in 2020-2021," said Brannemo. "We are confident that his experience will have a significant impact on our business in Latin America as we look to accelerate our growth strategy in the region."

Rodriguez will work with former Vice President & General Manager for Latin America, Osvaldo San Martin, on a smooth transition and handover. Additionally, Rita will continue to lead the Strategy and Business Operations for EMEALA until a new leadership structure is announced.

"I would like to thank Osvaldo for his leadership and dedication since joining the company in 2014 to lead the Latin American business, and I wish him all the best as he continues to shape the future of the organization in his new role as VP & GM, Security Solutions, BSNA," added Brannemo.

Rodriguez holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Madrid and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

"I am proud and excited to have Rita back in the Latin American organization, this time, leading this thriving region," Brannemo concluded. "This will also add to our January 2021 sustainability commitment to aim to double the representation of women leaders globally in five years."
